Roger REA d.1721?

Biographical Note

Known only as a teacher of mathematics (from the description in his sale catalogue); in 1717 he published The sector and plain scale, compared (ESTC t94813; 2nd edition, 1727).

Books

Rea's library was auctioned in London, beginning 28 November 1721; no catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Journal and Daily Post as being "a valuable collection of books in divinity, history, lives, travels, poetry, playes, voyages, mathematicks, etc."
