Biographical Note
Born at Buckden, Huntingdonshire. He matriculated as a fellow-commoner at Jesus College, Cambridge in 1736 but nothing further is known of his career, and there is no record that he graduated.
Books
Williams used an engraved armorial bookplate, noting his membership of Jesus College (Franks 31924); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
