Randolph DAVENPORT d.1605

Biographical Note

BA Trinity College, Cambridge 1581/2, MA 1585, fellow of Queens' College and proceeded BD there 1593. Rector of Barton Mills, Suffolk 1592 to 1604, and Toppesfield, Essex 1604 to 1605.

Books

Davenport's probate inventory includes over 60 books, valued at £20 18s 6d (from a total estate valued at £81 12s 6d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some Greek, with a predominance of theology alongside some lexicography and other subjects.
