Paul BATCHELLER 1676/7-1773

Biographical Note

Admitted sizar (age 16) at St John's College 1694:10:31; son of Paul Batchiller [[occupation::linen draper], father of [[family::Paul Batcheller (1728)].

Born at Salisbury, Wiltshire. Matriculated 1695; B.A. 1699/1700; M.A. 1718. Ordained [[occupation::priest], (London) 1702:12:20. Rector of Storrington, Sussex, 1721-33.

Probably chaplain to the 11th Foot, c. 1715.
