Joseph WATKINSON d.ca.1721

Biographical Note

Fellow of Merton College, Oxford. In 1706 Watkinson visited the museum collection of Ralph Thoresby, leaving his name and a Latin proverb, 'luvat curiosa felicitas' in the manuscript guest book.

Watkinson's books were sold by retail sale from 11 March 1721 in Oxford.
