Biographical Note
Of Warwickshire. BA St John's College, Cambridge 1553, fellow there from 1553, BD from Jesus College 1560, master of Jesus 1563 (though he died soon afterwards). Vicar of Impington, Cambridgeshire 1561, of St Peter's Duxford 1562.
Books
Lakyn's probate inventory includes ca.60 books, valued at £5 6s 10d (from a total estate valued at £12 17s 8d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some Hebrew, with a predominance of theology. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.118 (see full citation below).
