Born at [[place of birth::Elm, Cambridgeshire]]. BA [[education::Peterhouse, Cambridge]] 1583, MA and [[occupation::fellow of Peterhouse, Cambridge|fellow]] 1587. [[occupation::vicar|Vicar]] of [[location::Impington, Cambridgeshire]] 1588.

Blythe [[bequest::bequeathed]] money to [[beneficiary::Peterhouse, Cambridge|Peterhouse]] to buy books, and also to [[beneficiary::Sara Giles]], his "little god-daughter" to buy a specified list of [[subject::theology|devotional]] titles. His will has no mention of books owned by him; the residue of his estate went to his brother [[family::Adam Blythe|Adam]].
