Books
Ashe's probate inventory includes books valued at £1 10s.
Characteristic Markings
A 19th-century writer who had a number of Ashe's books noted that they were regularly marked by "the initials I.A. branded on the top edge of the leaves with a hot iron". None have been traced today.
