Biographical Note

Fellow of St Catharine's College, Cambridge 1529, BA 1529, MA 1532, licensed to study abroad in 1537.

Books

Moore's probate inventory includes 111 titles, in 112 volumes, valued at £6 2s 11d (from a total estate valued at ca.£13 8s). He bequeathed four of his best books to John Walles and John Crosyer; the rest of his goods were left to his father. The books include numerous Greek and Hebrew ones, alongside Latin, with a mixture of theology, classics, philosophy, geography and other subjects.
