The library of "Mr Baptist Norman, deceased" - who has not been identified - was auctioned in London, beginning 31 March 1729. No catalogue has been traced, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Post as containing "very curious and valuable books in Italian, French, Spanish, Latin and English".
