Born at Oxford, son of William Harding of Holywell parish, cook. BA Trinity College, Oxford 1669, MA and fellow, 1672, BD 1684.

The sale catalogue lists 1748 lots, roughly 50% in English and 50% in Latin and other languages (861 English, 854 Latin, 33 French).
