Of Congleton, Cheshire; BA Jesus College, Cambridge 1716, MA 1727. Rector of Donyatt, Somerset 1722-32.

Books

Bennet's library, together with part of that of Thomas Pitt, 1st Earl of Londonderry was sold by retail sale in London, beginning 27 March 1732; the sale also included a collection of several hundred pamphlets previously owned by James Fraser.
