John KINCH d.1731
Biographical Note
Baptist minister, living at the time of his death in Spital Square, in the parish of St Faith, London. In 1722 he published A funeral sermon occasioned by the death of ... Dr John Gale, a fellow Baptist minister. His will suggests a modest estate.
Books
Kinch's brief will has mention of books; after some small monetary bequests, the residue of his estate was bequeathed to his wife Collebury. His library was auctioned in London, beginning 31 January 1732, along with the books of "a very polite and learned gentleman"; no catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Journal.
