John TINDAL 1713/4-1774
Biographical Note
Son of Nicholas Tindal of Great Waltham, Essex. Matriculated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge 1729, and subsequently graduated LL.B. Rector of Chelmsford 1739-74, of Alphamstone 1756.
Books
Tindal used an engraved armorial bookplate, noting his LL.B degree (Franks 29493); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
