MA St John's College, Cambridge 1671, chaplain to the Duke of Bedford, rector of St Margaret Lothbury, London, 1699, prebendary of Camterbury 1719.
Books
Hancocke's will has no specific mention of books; all the residue of his goods and personal estate was to be divided between his two daughters. His library was sold by retail sale in London, beginning 23 April 1730, as part of a joint sale with the books of William Hewer and Thomas Hobart.
