Biographical Note
Son of Francis D'Oyley of Chichester, gentleman. Matriculated at Pembroke College, Oxford 1724; BCL All Souls 1732, DCL 1737. No further details of his career have been traced.
Books
D'Oyly used an engraved armorial bookplate, noting his status as a fellow of All Souls, which exists in two variant states (Franks 9010-11). The extent and disposition of his library is not known.
