Paul BEACH d.ca.1727?
Biographical Note
This owner is as yet unidentified.
Books
Beach's books were sold by retail sale from 23 June 1727 alongside those of "another gentleman, deceased". Advertisements in the Daily Post and Daily Journal don't distinguish between the two libraries, but describe the sale's contents as "a valuable collection of curious books, relating to the history, antiquities, law, parliamentary affairs, and trade of Great Britain; divinity, history, mathematicks, novels, plays, poetry. &c. In Latin, English, French, Italian, and Spanish. Several Law and other MSS. and a large collection of curious tracts. Several books bound very curious, gilt back, or letter'd".
