William GARNHAM fl.1726
Biographical Note
Described in auction advertisements as "William Garnham, Esq", and the same adverts link him to an estate in Hampshire. Could be the William Garnham "Gentleman of East Woodhey, Hampshire' who dies in 1748.
Books
Garnham's bookcases, books and manuscripts were sold by auction alongside other household goods from his London and Hampshire homes beginning 15 December 1726 in Soho, London. The auction was advertised in the Daily Post and Daily Journal, and the advertisements make no reference to Garnham being deceased, suggesting this could have been a sale during his lifetime.
