Books
In his will Smith bequeathed "what bookes hee pleaseth" to his grandson, Edward Smith. His books were eventually sold in a retail sale in London from 20 January 1726. The sale was advertised in the Daily Post, Evening Post, Daily Journal and Daily Courant.
