Edmund BOWYER or BOYER d.1719
Biographical Note
Bowyer's will names him as "Edmund Bowyer of Camberwell in the county of Surrey Esquire".
Books
Bowyer's will doesn't mention his library, which was presumably counted among the goods and household stuff left to his sister, Frances Bowyer. His books were sold in London beginning 4 July 1723. Advertisements in the Daily Journal described the sale as "a very curious collection of French, Spanish and Italian Books, being the compleat library of Edmund Boyer, Esq".
