Biographical Note
Son of Philip Wingfield, vicar of St Julian's, Shrewsbury. BA St John's College, Cambridge 1732, MA 1735; rector of Hanwood, Shropshire 1734, of Pontesbury 1750.
Books
Wingfield used an engraved armorial bookplate, made sometime after his 1735 graduation (Franks 32234); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
