Biographical Note
BA Clare College, Cambridge 1669, MA 1672, fellow and DD 1710. Rector of Loughton, Essex from 1673, vicar of Witham from 1680, and archdeacon of Colchester from 1704 until his death.
Books
Warley's will does not mention his library, which was sold by retail sale in London from 5 February 1723, alongside that of an unnamed 'Eminent Physician'. The printed catalogue describes the sale as 'a Choice Collection of very Valuable Books in English, French, Greek, and Latin; with several of the Classicks, &c'. The total number of items is nearly 1000, and they are divided by format and language.
