An advertisement for the sale of Wroth's library describes him as a 'Gentleman and Divine, deceased, late of Bury'.
Books
Wroth's books were sold by retail sale in London beginning 7 March 1722 alongside those of Thomas Wroth. No catalogue has been identified, but advertisements in the Daily Post and the Daily Journal describe the sale as 'a valuable Collection of English Books, chiefly History, Divinity, &c.', going on to list some title, including 'Burton's Leicestershire... Hob's Leviathan... Lives of the Painters... Raleigh's Hist. of the World... Likewise some Italian and French Books'. The extent of Wroth's library is unknown.
