Godwin WALSALL d.1608

Biographical Note

BA Corpus Christi College, Cambridge 1601/2, MA and fellow Pembroke 1605. He seems to have been the college's Hebrew Lecturer.

Books

Walsall's probate inventory includes over 100 books, valued at £9 5s 1d (from a total estate valued at £27 13s 1d). The books are mostly in Latin and Greek with some Hebrew and English. The books cover a variety of subjects including theology, lexicography, literature and music. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.185 (see full citation below).
