William HOLLAND d.1608

Biographical Note

BA St John's College, Cambridge 1579/80, MA 1583 and BD 1591. In the same year he became rector of Ashby, Norforlk, a position he held until 1603, and in 1605 he became rector of North Creake in the same county.

Books

Holland's probate inventory includes over 20 books, valued at £1 18s 0d (from a total estate valued at £12 15s 8d). The books are mostly in English and Latin, and predominantly cover theology and history, with some other subjects. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.184 (see full citation below).
