Biographical Note
Matriculated Queens' College, Cambridge 1576, and in 1583 proceeded LLB at Trinity Hall, elected fellow there in 1585.
Books
Thorowgood's probate inventory includes over 140 books, valued at £27 0s 9d (from a total estate valued at £59 5s 11d). The books are mostly in Latin with some in English, and they predominantly cover law alongside some theology and other subjects.
