Benson's probate inventory includes over 50 books, valued at £3 19s 5d (from a total estate valued at £37 9s 0.1/2d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some Greek and English. The books cover a mixture of rhetoric, philosophy and theology, with some law and other subjects. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.171 (see full citation below).
