James Goodlatt CAMPBELL, 4th of Auchlyne, 1731-1785

Biographical Note

Eldest son of Duncan Campbell (ca. 1700-ca. 1750), 3rd of Auchlyne, and Louisa Campbell. The family seat was at Killin, Perthsire.

Books

Used an engraved bookplate (Franks 5011): Campbell, James Goodlatt, of Achlyne.

The extent and disposition of his library is not known.

He is listed as a subscriber to William Boutcher, Treatise on forest-trees, Edinburgh, 1785 (p. xxix).
