Christopher MOUNCASTER or MULCASTER d.1558

Biographical Note

BA Christ's College, Cambridge 1553, fellow there and MA 1556; he died only a couple of years later.

Books

Mouncaster's damaged probate inventory includes ca.40 books, valued at £1 1s (from a total estate valued at nearly £7); this may not be his entire library. The books are mostly in Latin, with some Greek, with a mixture of theology, philosophy, classics, and other topics. His estate was inherited by his father.
