George ARUNDELL or ARUNDEL d.1555

Biographical Note

Known only as a student of Queens' College, Cambridge, who matriculated in 1549 and apparently died before graduating.

Books

Arundell's probate inventory includes ca.30 books, valued at £1 5s 3d (from a total estate valued at £3 19s 5d). The books are mostly in Latin, and include theology, law and classics. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.65 (see full citation below).
