Biographical Note
LL.B at Trinity Hall, Cambridge 1544, and subsequently fellow there; at the time of his death, he was registrar to the Bishop of Norwich, and no longer primarily resident in Cambridge.
Books
Cantrell's probate inventory includes ca.40 books, valued at £1 4s 10d (from a total estate valued at over £135). The books are mostly in Latin, with a little French, and include theology, law and other topics. His books seem to have been sold after his death.
