Known only to have been a student at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge at the time of his death in 1551.
Books
Gonas's probate inventory includes ca.55 books, including "26 old books" unlisted by title, valued at £1 4s 4d (from a total estate valued at £7 14s 3d). The books are mostly in Latin, covering a range of subjects appropriate for university study, including theology, grammar, classics and law.
