Biographical Note
BA New College, Oxford 1650, fellow the same year; he was listed for expulsion for refusing to submit to the parliamentary visitation of 1648, but this seems not to have been enforced.
Books
Hutton's probate inventory lists ca.150 books valued at £2 18s 7d, edited as PLRE 165. The books include a typical wide range of texts, including much theology, grammar and philosophy, but also literary texts, and books on history and current affairs, alchemy, science and classics. A little over a quarter of his books are noted as being English imprints.
