Books

Howe used an anonymous engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 15549). The extent and disposition of his library is not known; he left no surviving children and the baronetcy passed to Emmanuel Scrope Howe, 2nd Viscount Howe. His lengthy will has no specific mention of books, which would have been part of the "rest residue of my goods chattells and personall estate" inherited by his wife.
