John TAYLOR d.1546

Biographical Note

Known to have been a priest, and possibly resident at Trinity Hall, Cambridge; little else about him has been discovered.

Books

Taylor's probate inventory includes 51 titles, in ca.70 volumes, valued at £1 17s 8d (from a total estate valued at ca.£70). The books are mostly in Latin, covering theology, law, and some other topics. The full inventory, which suggests that the books were divided between two locations, is edited as Leedham-Green no.27 (see full citation below).
