Maltby's probate inventory includes 89 titles, in 90 volumes, valued at £2 9s 9d (from a total estate valued at £7 9s 8d). The books are mostly Latin, with a few Greek and Hebrew ones, with a mixture of titles supporting university studies, including theology, classics and philosophy.
