Books

Chekyn's probate inventory includes 85 titles, in 94 volumes, valued at £9 2s (from a total estate valued at ca.£26). The books are almost entirely Latin theology, with a small number of classical and other subjects; a number of reforming authors are included, such as Luther, Melanchthon and Zwingli.
