Sir Thomas GORDON 3rd bart 1685-1769

Biographical Note

Son of Sir Alexander Gordon, 2nd baronet (1650–1726). Became a bankrupt in 1743 and alienated his lands and baronies of Earlston and Afton.

(Wrongly identified by Franks as 'Sir John Gordon 3rd Bart. succeeded 1726; died 1769'.)
