Samuel DOOLITTLE d.1717?

Biographical Note

Son of Thomas Doolittle, nonconformist minister in London. His education is not known, but is likely to have been in his father's academy; he followed him into the nonconformist ministry and was minister at Broad Street Chapel, Reading from 1707. A couple of his sermons (one of which was preached at Reading) were printed in the early 1690s.

Books

Doolittle's library was auctioned in London, beginning 25 November 1717. No catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Courant and Post Boy.
