Adam HOLLAND 1665-1716

Biographical Note

Born in Lancashire, matriculated at Jesus College, Cambridge 1683, but did not graduate. He then studied medicine at Leiden University, where he graduated MD in 1686. He later became a nonconformist minister at Macclesfield, while also presumably practising medicine.

Books

Holland's library was auctioned in London, beginning 18.3.1717. No catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Courant.
