Francis BABER 1658/9-1678
Biographical Note
Younger son of Sir John Baber, of Wells, royal physician. Matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford 1674, but did not graduate; in 1678, he was admitted at Lincoln's Inn, and died shortly afterwards.
Books
Baber's will states that he had left about £30-worth of books in his chamber at Christ Church, Oxford, which were bequeathed to his brother Edward Baber; this is all we know about his library and its fate (and there is no record of Sir John having a son called Edward).
