Sir Edward LITTLETON, 3rd bart d.1742
Biographical Note
Son of Edward Littleton (d.1706) of Pillaton Hall, Staffordshire, and grandson of Sir Edward Littleton, 2nd bart, from whom he inherited the title and family estates in 1709.
Books
Littleton used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 18414). The extent of his library is not known; he died without children, and the estates and title were inherited by his nephew Edward who became the 4th and last baronet. His lengthy will has no specific mention of books.
