Sir Henry CORBET, 6th bart 1708-1750
Biographical Note
Second son of Sir Robert Corbet, 4th bart, of Stoke, Shropshire, MP and courtier. BA Queens' College, Cambridge 1731, MA 1734; rector of Adderley, Shropshire. He succeeded his elder brother William as 6th baronet in 1748; the baronetcy expired on his death in 1750.
Books
Corbet used an engraved armorial bookplate, made sometime between 1734 and 1748 (Franks 6846); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
