Biographical Note
All that is known of Crosse is that he matriculated from Peterhouse, Cambridge in 1561; he seems not to have graduated.
Books
Crosse's probate inventory includes ca.40 books, valued at £1 2s (from a total estate valued at £3 3s 6d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some English, with a mixture of theology, [subject::philosophy]], classics, grammar and other topics.
