Biographical Note
Colin Campbell was a plantation owner at New Hope, Westmoreland, Jamaica. His will is dated 27 August 1759. He was was buried in Westmoreland on 17 June 1760.
He does not appear to be directly related to the astronomer Colin Campbell of Jamaica.

The extent and disposition of his library is not known.
