Sir John ERSKINE or ARESKINE, of Alva, 3rd bart. 1672-1739

Biographical Note

The second son of Sir Charles Erskine, 1st Bt., of [location::Alva]], Stirling (now in Clackmannan). WikiTree gives his date of baptism as 11 June 1675 in Tillicoultry. He was a member of the Scottish Parliament (1700-7) and of the British Parliament (1707-8, 1713-15).
