BA St John's College, Oxford 1626, MA 1629, BS (Oxford) 1649. Rector of [[location::Toft by Newton, Lincolnshire 1633. Warden of New College, Oxford.

Marshall's probate inventory notes his library valued at ca. £50, including 65 folios, 124 bound quartos, and various smaller formats and stitched books.
