Alexandeer STIRLING of Northwoodside, fl.ca.1700
Biographical Note
Archibald Stirling of Keir is recorded as purchasing Northwoodside House near Glasgow at a date in the early 18th century. There is no obvious Archibald Stirling of Keir at the appropriate dates. He is possibly to be identified as Archibald Stirling, 3rd of Garden (1651–1715) or his son Archibald Stirling, 4th of Garden (1679–1732), who were both descended from Sir Archibald Stirling, 5th of Keir (d.1630).
Books
