Sir Robert ROUS, 4th bart ca.1687-1735

Biographical Note

Younger son of Sir John Rous, 2nd bart, of Henham Hall, Suffolk, landowner and MP; he succeeded his elder brother John to the baronetcy and family estates in 1731.

Books

Rous used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 25589); the extent of his library is not known. His property and titles were inherited by his son John.
