Henry HILL 1716-1775
Biographical Note
Son of Thomas Hill, rector of Buxhall, Suffolk. BA Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge 1738, MA 1751, DD 1763. Curate of Buxhall 1738, of Brettenham, Norfolk 1740, Tostock, Suffolk 1741, and of Buxhall from 1743.
Books
Hill used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 14745). The extent of his library is not known; his will has no mention of books, which would have been left, with the rest of his goods and chattels, to his wife Susan.
